Part bistro, part neighborhood gathering place, part destination, at Brennan’s long-time village residents rub elbows with seasonal vacationers, hurrying office workers and dedicated foodies as they order their favorite selections from our signature menu offerings or daily specials.

Beginning with our original location in historic Rumson, just a few steps from the banks of the Navesink River, later in scenic Oakhurst, and now in majestic  Middletown we’ve been delighting people with our delicious food and welcoming, casual hospitality for nearly two decades. Today, both eateries rank among the Jersey Shore’s favorite spots for unique, gourmet-quality “foods to go,” with breakfast, lunch and dinner menus featuring 26 hot and cold sandwiches, mouth-watering soups, inspired salads and a choice of tempting entrees.

Everything we serve is incredibly fresh, prepared and cooked on premise under the direction of our award winning chefs, including a tempting array of baked goods.  In the Rumson location there’s even a wonderful selection of wines and micro brews to complement your menu choices, and a full liquor license to support your catering needs.

Brian Hans Executive Chef

Brian leads a kitchen team that’s become well known for its innovative menus and consistent excellence. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, he formerly served as private Executive Chef at Bristol-Meyers Squibb’s New York City headquarters and several top Central New Jersey restaurants, including Raven and the Peach, The Bistro in Red Bank, and Cousins Café, which earned a three star rating during his tenure.

His fine dining experience and limitless imagination are well represented in both our in-store and gourmet catering menus. Never content with the conventional, Brian passionately and continuously explores cutting-edge recipes and techniques.
